Wendy's Bio:

Wendy is a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC-C), and Health and Life Coach who has a passion for helping people of all ages navigate the more difficult and challenging aspects of life. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling, certifications in both Health and Life Coaching, as well as certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Personality Systems.

She utilizes multiple therapeutic approaches in her practice, and has a holistic philosophy believing each person is unique and deserves individualized treatment and goal-setting. Her areas of expertise are anxiety and depression, relationships, personal development, stress management, and aspects of physical health such as weight loss.

Her number one priority is to empathically listen, form a connection with her clients built on trust, and provide a warm, safe and non-judgmental environment where they feel accepted and comfortable talking about whatever is on their mind.

Terri Dewar

Terri's Bio:

Terri holds a BASocSc from UBC as well as a Wellness Counsellor Diploma from Rhodes Wellness College. Terri has five years experience working in the field of addiction and recovery. She has completed certifications in Group Facilitation, Grief Counselling, and Mental Health First Aid, and most recently obtained her Facilitator Certification in both the Basic and Advanced Psych-K Energy Psychology. This is a unique counselling approach that focuses on both the conscious mind i.e 'talk therapy', using modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness therapy, in which she uncovers some of the hidden negative and disempowering beliefs that are no longer serving someone, and the subconscious mind - using energy psychology, to help change those self limiting beliefs into ones that are supportive in achieving one's goals.

Terri offers a 20 minute discovery session by phone, free of charge, to see if she and a client are a good fit.

Natalia Irani, RCC

Natalia's Bio:

Natalia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has a MA in Counselling Psychology. She views counselling as a channel to help clients recognize their own strengths and be self aware. She integrates several methods depending on individual needs and focusing on the holistic approach of body, mind and spiritual aspect of a person. She has experience working with people who have been through trauma and trying to heal their past using inner child work.

Natalia works with adults and teens, doing individual or couple counselling. Areas of practice include; domestic abuse, childhood/historical trauma, adult children of alcoholics (ACOA's), depression and anxiety, separation and divorce. She is registered with CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program).

Emma McLellan, RCC

Emmas's Bio:

Emma is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Adler University in Vancouver and conducted her thesis research on the individual and relational impacts of child loss on parents.

Emma practices Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and draws from other modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. She grounds her practice in safety and works collaboratively with her clients, tailoring her work to each of their unique needs and experiences. She works from an anti-oppressive, feminist perspective.

Emma works with teens and adults and offers both individual and couples counselling. Areas of practice include Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Relationships, Life Transitions, Violence Against Women, and Grief and Loss, among others. She has completed additional training in the Gottman Method Couples Counselling (level 1), Mindfulness Based Somatic Therapy (level 1, 2), and Violence Prevention and Intervention Training.
